The Andover Islamic Center is inviting the whole community to its Fall Cookout this Saturday, October 10, 2026. The cookout runs from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM at the center, 204 Andover Street, Suite 201, in Andover. The food and the event are free.
The flyer opens with a warm greeting: "Assalamualaikum WRWB Brothers and Sisters!" It goes on to say that the menu is finalized, the activities are coming together, and the center is looking forward to spending the day with the community, inshaAllah.
What's on the Menu
There will be plenty to eat. The menu includes:
BBQ chicken and chicken tikka
Chicken korma with naan
Chicken biryani
Fresh-grilled burgers, made to order
Snacks
Desserts
In the words of the flyer: "And as always, the food and event are at no cost. Everything is on us!"
Activities for the Whole Family
The cookout is planned with every age in mind. Activities include a table tennis tournament, a FIFA 19 tournament, a bouncy house, face painting, and Islamic trivia. Whether your kids want to jump, get their faces painted, or test what they know, there is something for them.
Bring Everyone
The center is asking people to bring their family, friends, and loved ones and spend the afternoon together. As the flyer puts it: "Just bring yourselves, we'll take care of the rest." There is no ticket to buy and nothing to bring. It is a simple chance to share a good meal, meet neighbors, and enjoy a fall day with the community.
